Se já fomos árvore, seremos também rio. Em Pernambuco, a indústria do jeans, maior do país, que também é o segundo maior produtor do mundo, tem acumulado dejetos em rios, como o Rio Capibaribe, o maior do estado. Essas águas muitas vezes trocam de cor, trazendo uma coloração rosa, fruto dos tóxicos presentes nesses dejetos. Um ser não-humano intervém na narrativa para comunicar essa realidade, enquanto que o tempo, a destruição, e o poder da chuva fazem tempestade. O rio quer respirar.

If we were once trees, we will also be river. In Pernambuco, the jeans industry, the largest in the country, which is also the second largest producer in the world, has accumulated waste in rivers, such as the Capibaribe River, the largest in the state. These waters often change color, turning pink, as a result of the toxic substances present in these wastes. A non-human being intervenes in the narrative to communicate this reality, while time, destruction, and the power of rain make storms. The river wants to breathe.
