El Sueño Del Telar Que Durmió Por La Tarde, 2024

video

The dream of the Loom that slept in the afternoon), 2024, is a translation work made between the machine, the natural landscape and a very distant dream. How would a traditional loom describe what it feels when used by generations of weavers who live surrounded by mountains? This work is a collaboration with the collective Textile Semillas, a group of traditional weavers and native women from different communities in north Argentina. Through 2D animation, I developed an imaginary landscape using elements and themes from their weaving, giving life and movement to to what an ancestral tradition could look like on a digital and sculptural surface.
